EDUCATION

Those employed in the office for museum education (curator Eva Kocuvan; and for tours and accompanying educational activities the occasional help of outside collaborators from corresponding professions) are involved with education and the popularization of exhibitions and other museum activities.

In the National Museum of Slovenia we also wish to approach the wishes and needs of visitors with various forms of presentations. We particularly wish to inspire the interest of school aged youth in history and museums. Such educational work involves activities involving pre-school children, and students from elementary and secondary schools. The office organizes study hours and guided tours through the exhibitions for children and youths, as well as guided tours for all age and interest groups of adult visitors.
