Stone arrowheads

Stone arrowheads
Item name:Stone arrowheads
Dating:5th–3rd millennium BC
On display:The Earliest Stories from the Crossroads

The stone arrowheads of different forms show that hunting was an important activity in the 5th and 4th millennia BC. Their formal diversity makes them difficult to date with any precision; those with a notch, a flat base or a tang could be either Neolithic or Copper Age in date.
