Description
Idol showing a stylised figure of a woman (2700–2400 BC; front and
back). Female idols with emphasised sexual attributes are common
finds in the settlements of the Balkan and central European Neolithic in the 5th millennium BC. Contrary to these, idols from the 3rd
millennium are rare, not only in Slovenia but also across Europe.
Like the idol from Ig, they are more abstract than those from the
Neolithic, with less pronounced sexual attributes.
