Description

The substantial twisted bronze torque is the only surviving item of a hoard found around on Veliki Korinj in 1871. Brief reports also note bronze axes, spearheads and bracelets in the hoard. The Provincial Museum of Carniola purchased the torque in 1885. Until then, the finder used it as a door handle.
