This horn comb from Kranj depicts the battle of two mounted horsemen. Better preserved side depicts a warrior with a sword in his right hand raised high and a horse standing beside him. Opposite them stands the opponent’s horse without its rider and surrounded by human body parts. Closing in on this group are animals that resemble most closely a pack of wolves.
