Description

Sites in Bled and elsewhere have yielded pendants and other pieces of jewellery presumably used to protect the wearer against magic spells. Amulets were generally very common among the Slavs. The Slavs probably ascribed magical powers to certain objects, such as a rumbler bell and a finger ring with a pair of snake heads from Smokuč, as well as three red deer teeth found in a child’s grave at Pristava in Bled.
