The oldest musical instrument in the world, a 60,000-year-old Neanderthal flute is a treasure of global significance. It was discovered in Divje babe, one of the caves in the pre-Alpine area. The original is on display in the permanent exhibition The Earliest Stories from the Crossroads.
There will be some more time and we are going to reveal the stories of UNESCO protected Pile dwelling areas, exceptional archaeological material from Iron Age period and mysterious Roman period.
