The international exhibition of ceramics students, selected by invited mentors and presented as part of the 6th International Ceramics Triennial UNICUM 2026, provides an important platform for students to present their work and exhibit.

The exhibition curator, Danijela Pivašević, Assistant Professor at the Berlin University of the Arts, wrote: »I chose to focus on sustainability. ... The exhibited works range from unfired clay, capable of being reactivated with water, to finished objects and processes including sound experiments, photographic explorations, clay printing on textiles, and other hybrid methods. While ceramic material remains the initial point, its boundaries are intentionally questioned and expanded.
The exhibition presents a generation of young artists who approach ceramics practically through research-based, materially-conscious practices. Sustainability functions as a catalyst for rethinking artistic production and education. Rather than offering fixed solutions, the exhibition proposes a spectrum of artistic positions opening new perspectives on material agency, responsibilty, and the relationship between art, process, everyday life, and the audience.«
