Academic and professional career

  • Double major in History and Art History, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts (2014–2019); completed the degree with a thesis titled Ljubljana's Lontovž: The History of the Building and Its Inhabitants under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr Matej Klemenčič (Art History) and Assistant Professor Dr Marko Štuhec (History).
  • In 2020, began a single-major Master's program in Art History at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts (2020–2023); completed the degree with a thesis titled From the Landhaus to the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts Headquarters: the History of the Palace at Novi trg 3 in the 19th and 20th centuries under the supervision of Professor Dr Matej Klemenčič.
  • In 2023, enrolled in the doctoral program in Humanities and Social Sciences, specializing in Art History at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts, under the supervision of Professor Dr Matej Klemenčič.
  • Since 2023, employed as an Art Historian Curator at the Department of History and Applied Arts at the National Museum of Slovenia (half-time) and as a Researcher at the Department of Art History, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts (half-time).
  • In 2023, appointed Assistant in Research at the National Museum of Slovenia and Assistant at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts.
  • Since 2023, included as a technical collaborator in the research program P6-0282, Objects and Prestige: Taste, Status, and Power (Researches of the Material Culture in Slovenia).
  • Researcher in the project J6-50205, Formation of a Regional Art Centre in the Early Modern Period: The Case of Ljubljana (2023–2026).
  • Since 2023, external collaborator as Assistant in Art History at the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana (teaching Art History lectures and seminars).

Her research primarily centres on Early Modern history, with an emphasis on the culture of the Carniolan estates, representation of Habsburg power, art patronage, and the development of urban spaces in Inner Austria during the 17th and 18th centuries.

Key Research Achievements

  • Study of Carniolan estate culture and the seat of the Carniolan estates, Lontovž (scientific monograph Lontovž: od deželne hiše do sedeža SAZU, 2023).
  • Research on exhibitions in the Jakopič Pavilion (co-authored online monographExhibitions at the Jakopič Pavilion from 1919 to 1945, 2023).
  • Study of medieval Carthusian architecture, focusing on the lower monastery church in Špitalič, in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture (exhibition The Mysterious Špitalič at the Mala galerija of the Bank of Slovenia, 2023).
  • Investigation into the formation of Ljubljana as an art center in the early modern period.
